Retreat's finally over. Gosh, it's the most memorable and life-changing one! As in! NOT.
I am so disappointed with our retreat. Yes, the place is undeniably beautiful and staying there viewing the view from the top of the Rome-inspired buildings is actually surreal. But retreats are not only about the places, it's actually all about the sessions that makes it wonderful and all. Oh my. It's the most boring retreat I have ever been. I mean boring. I remember that I made an entry last year, when I was still a junior; an entry about the retreat we had conducted by Ms. Malayas. And this, I say: Ms. Malayas could have done a life-changing session with us. Her CL classes, AND TeenSTAR classes are actually life-changing and thought-provoking. Hello, I am talking about TeenSTAR here. Who wouldn't agree that it's life-changing? Life-changing at first meeting. Waaah. Haha. :D
The only thing that I liked in our retreat was the place. It's really a place where you would be able to contemplate. A place where the air is cool, where you won't hear the busy buzz of the polluted Metro. Hay. Ang ganda. And, the food! It's not really that exceptional pero masarap. If you have been to Arnold Janssen Spirituality Center, you'll know what I mean. It's not the kind of food na mawawalan ka ng gana kasi it's either matigas or masyadong maalat or walang lasa. Masarap ang food. However, the rooms were too small.
Oh well. I hate our class' retreat schedule. Why do we have to have classes still tomorrow? Err. There are so many things to be done for tomorrow. Physics homework, Pinoy quiz, English quiz, Accounting quiz, and the pointless Music quiz.
One thing I have noticed this year in Music: ginagawang panakot ni Mr. Flores Flower 'yung periodical test sa subject niyang sobrang full of sense. Ang sama mo. Buti sana kung maayos kang nagtuturo.
Thanks pala sa lahat ng nagbigay ng reco letter, senseless or not, salamat. :) I am so sorry for the people whom I have not given a reco letter due to stupidity and laziness, too. :D I left some reco letters here at home and that includes Sheila's loooooong reco letter. Pero I managed to make her another one naman kaso lang super short naman. hehe. :D Super thanks to Trixie Cruz, Danica Perez and Maxirose Enriquez for their moving reco letters. :D
